Powering the Dakar Rally 2026
Almost 8,000 kilometers across the Kingdom. Seven locations. Six remote bivouacs. One start/finish line in beautiful Yanbu on the Red Sea. Energia was there at every stop.
Brian, Energia’s Head of Events, led the deployment. The team delivered 6 Megawatts of power across six remote bivouacs with zero existing infrastructure. No grid. No backup. Just Energia.
At the start/finish line in Yanbu, the team deployed over 10 Megawatts, powering everything from broadcast facilities to team compounds. This included a cutting-edge solar solution integrated with battery storage, providing seamless backup power to the accreditation center.
