About the job
Responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that projects meet technical specifications, adhere to safety standards, and are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems, components, and products based on project requirements and specifications.
- Create and review electrical schematics, drawings, and layouts using CAD software.
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical designs.
- Select appropriate components, materials, and equipment for electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to coordinate design activities and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and prototypes, analyze test data, and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as NEC, IEC, and IEEE.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance phases of projects.
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and customer discussions to communicate progress and address concerns
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technology, tools, and techniques.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical design.
- Proven experience in electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuits, and systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical design and safety.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
