Energia was brought in to deliver more than just power—we were entrusted with the full infrastructure package to keep the event running seamlessly across all critical fronts.
The Brief
Energia’s scope covered two primary mandates:
- A full-scale turnkey power solution delivering over 5 megawatts
- Temporary structures across both front-of-house and back-of-house areas
All of this had to be executed under a tight build schedule, across a sprawling open venue—without compromising on safety, performance, or international standards.

Primary & Secondary Distribution
We delivered 5 MW of power, spanning competition arenas, broadcast zones, hospitality lounges, stabling areas, media zones, and medical support tents. All distribution paths were carefully mapped with primary and secondary lines to avoid load congestion.
Generator Fleet
The power system was driven by a carefully calibrated mix of high-efficiency generators ranging from 275 KVA to 1.25 MVA, supported by multiple synchronised clusters for uninterrupted delivery.
Fuel Supply & Management
Over the course of the event, Energia also handled end-to-end fuel logistics—including tank setups, scheduling, refueling operations, and contingency stock—all managed with real-time usage data to reduce waste and downtime.
On-Ground Support & Monitoring
Energia’s technical teams were deployed on-site 24/7 with live monitoring tools and failover protocols to ensure zero downtime—even during high-consumption windows such as evening show rounds and live broadcasts.
Temporary Structures for People and Performance
Alongside power, Energia was responsible for building several temporary structures across the venue.
- Welfare units and staff rest areas in back-of-house zones
- Control and coordination rooms for technical and production teams
- Hospitality-facing setups for select VIP areas
All tenting solutions were integrated with dedicated power feeds and cooling lines, combining fast setup times with structural reliability.
Challenges We Solved
1. Logistics Under Pressure
With limited time for venue handover, Energia compressed its deployment timeline into a 72-hour fast-track execution, including load testing and commissioning.
2. Demand Spikes & Peak Load Balance
Live event environments often feature sudden spikes in consumption. We pre-calculated and embedded buffer loads into critical zones and used parallel synchronisation for dynamic load-sharing.
3. Broadcast-Grade Clean Power
The LGCT finale was broadcast live to global audiences. Energia isolated clean power streams for all media and broadcast equipment, protecting feeds from frequency noise and power surges.
4. Equestrian-Sensitive Zones
Horses are highly sensitive to noise, heat, and vibrations. We positioned all generator clusters at calculated distances from the stabling and warm-up zones, using acoustic enclosures and custom exhaust routing to maintain comfort and safety.
