Drawing athletes and officials from over 50 nations, this Kingdom-wide event ran for 50 consecutive days, covering dozens of venues and disciplines—from track and field to combat sports, aquatics, and more.
Energia was appointed to deliver a centralized, uninterrupted power solution across multiple venues. The expectation was clear: flawless performance across an extended duration, with no room for downtime.
The Brief
The assignment called for:
- 8.5 MW of continuous power

Multi-Venue Execution at National Scale
Energia’s deployment spanned stadiums, training grounds, accommodation zones, and ceremony venues across Riyadh. Our engineering team developed a zone-wise power plan based on projected load, distribution topography, and runtime requirements.
Generator Fleet
We deployed a fleet of synchronized generators, each strategically located and sized based on individual venue profiles. The fleet ranged from 100 KVA units for auxiliary zones to 1.25 MVA machines for main competition areas, all backed by smart controllers for real-time load balancing.
Fuel Systems
To support 50 days of uninterrupted runtime, we integrated high-capacity fuel storage systems, mobile refueling units, and a predictive fuel management schedule based on venue activity cycles. No outages. No delays.
