Energia was brought in to handle the full spectrum of site infrastructure—power, cooling, and technical execution—across a demanding footprint. For the fourth consecutive year, our role was clear: deliver reliability, fast.
The Mission
With limited setup time and thousands of daily visitors expected, the brief was tight. Provide full infrastructure support without compromising quality, safety, or comfort.
What we delivered:
- 12 MW of continuous power, routed across exhibition zones, VIP areas, back offices, and security systems.
- 2,000+ TR cooling capacity, configured to stabilize temperatures in modular structures and enclosed venues.
- Complete site infrastructure, including generators, MDBs, ducting, fuel tanks, lighting, and cabling.
- On-ground manpower and management for power distribution, temperature control, refueling, and real-time support.
Challenges on the Ground
Fast-Track Setup
The timeline was compressed. Our team had days—not weeks—to deploy heavy equipment, install structured cooling systems, test circuits, and clear safety protocols.
Our in-house logistics teams delivered a coordinated rollout, while local service crews managed all installations with minimal disruption to ongoing venue preparations.
Live Event Variables
Like any live event, the Madina Book Fair brought unpredictable crowd patterns, weather fluctuations, and varying power demands from exhibitors and programming zones. Our modular infrastructure allowed us to adapt dynamically without service interruptions.
