From the Desk of Energia
Saudi summers don’t slow down. Neither do we.
This month, we’re taking you behind the scenes of some of the Kingdom’s most important cultural events, and showing you exactly how Energia keeps them running, cool, and on time. We’re also looking at what makes our modular structures the go-to choice for businesses that need to set up fast, work comfortably, and scale without friction.
Powering Culture Across the Kingdom
For the past four years, Energia has been supporting book festivals across Saudi Arabia, delivering reliable temporary power and cooling solutions for some of the Kingdom’s largest and most visited cultural events. From Madinah to Riyadh, our teams have operated as a single-point infrastructure partner, handling everything from heavy-duty generator deployment and temporary district cooling to tented structures, fuel management, and 7/24 on-ground support.
These aren’t small operations. Book fairs in Saudi Arabia draw millions of visitors, run across tens of thousands of square meters, and demand infrastructure that simply cannot fail. Here’s how we’ve shown up, city by city.
MADINAH
12 MW | 2,000+ TR | Four Years Running
The Madinah Book Fair is more than a cultural event. Held in one of Saudi Arabia’s holiest cities, it carries a weight of expectation that goes beyond logistics. When Energia was brought in to handle the full infrastructure scope, the brief was clear: power the entire site, cool every zone, and do it fast.
Our team deployed 12 MW of continuous power routed across exhibition zones, VIP areas, back offices, and security systems. Alongside that, we installed over 2,000 TR of cooling capacity, configured specifically to stabilize temperatures inside modular structures and enclosed venues during peak visitor hours.
The challenge wasn’t just scale. It was speed. Our teams had days, not weeks, to deploy heavy equipment, install structured cooling systems, test circuits, and clear safety protocols. They delivered.
For the fourth consecutive year, the event launched on time, ran without interruption, and closed without incident.
“Energia’s team was responsive, professional, and efficient. We’ve worked with them four years in a row, and their ability to deliver under pressure continues to exceed expectations.”

RIYADH
78,000 m² | 10 Days | Zero Interruptions
The Riyadh International Book Fair is one of the largest cultural events in the Arab world. Over a million visitors pass through its halls across ten days. The operational pressure is immense, and the margin for error is zero.
Energia’s mandate covered the full infrastructure stack: 30 MW of integrated power distributed across exhibition halls, admin zones, visitor areas, and back-of-house operations. A 6,000 TR cooling system maintained a consistent 22 to 26 degrees Celsius environment inside large-scale modular structures across a 78,000 m² footprint. We also supplied and managed the tented structures themselves, including insulated roofing, flooring, and partition systems.
On the power side, high-capacity diesel generators ranging up to 1.25 MVA were deployed alongside smart fuel scheduling, integrated main distribution boards, and a 7/24 on-ground service crew. Zero-overlap backup zones were built in to eliminate single points of failure.
Our tent division, power operations team, and cooling crews worked through a single command structure. No handoffs. No delays. Just coordinated execution. The result: zero unplanned outages, consistent cooling across all zones, and not a single programming delay due to infrastructure.
JEDDAH
Energia’s presence in Jeddah follows the same model. Large-scale cultural and commercial events in the city rely on our temporary power and cooling capabilities, backed by local service teams who understand the terrain, the climate, and the pace of delivery that clients expect.
As the Kingdom’s event calendar continues to grow, Jeddah remains a key city in Energia’s operational footprint, and a market where our turnkey approach consistently delivers.
What This Tells You About
How We Work
Three cities. Different scales. One consistent outcome.
What makes Energia effective across all of them isn’t just the equipment, it’s the model. A single partner managing power, cooling, structures, fuel, and manpower from one command structure means fewer handoffs, faster problem resolution, and infrastructure that runs in the background exactly the way it should.
Maintenance is performed every 300 hours across all deployed fleet, keeping systems performing at peak efficiency regardless of event duration. On-ground technical support operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
That’s the turnkey promise. Not just rental. Execution.

Energia’s container cabins and modular structures are engineered for exactly this environment. Designed with Lego-like modularity, they can be configured, expanded, and relocated without major downtime. Whether it’s a Pagoda, Dome, Arch, Polygon, or Curve structure for a covered outdoor setup, or a containerized cabin solution for a remote worksite, the build logic is the same: fast to deploy, built to last, and designed to keep people comfortable in conditions that would otherwise slow operations down.
In Saudi summers, comfort isn’t a luxury. It’s a productivity requirement.
Our modular cabins come fully fitted and climate-ready. Insulation, electrical, and HVAC configurations are handled before units leave our facility, so setup on site is clean, fast, and consistent.
For industrial clients managing remote camps, the value is clear. Standardized units mean no guesswork on site. For commercial clients needing temporary office or retail space at speed, the flexibility is the point.
“We don’t just supply gear. We deliver performance. For national-scale events, you need more than vendors. You need partners who understand consequence.”
